BIOGRAPHY
Paul Taylor is a U.S. Army veteran, community organizer, nonprofit leader, and advocate for fairness, stability, and opportunity. His life’s work has been serving people — from soldiers to seniors, from families facing housing instability to young people searching for opportunity.
He is running for NC Senate District 21 to bring integrity, compassion, and real leadership back to Raleigh.
What Paul Is Fighting For:
- Strong schools – Because every child in our district deserves a chance to dream big, right where they are.
- Safe communities – So you can feel good letting your kids play outside and knowing your neighbors look out for you.
- Housing stability – So no family has to wonder where they'll lay their heads at night.
- Rural preservation – Because the farmland and quiet roads we grew up with should be here for our grandkids too.
- Support for military families – For the moms and dads serving overseas and the families holding down the fort back home.
- Clean water & land – So the creek behind your house stays safe for fishing, skipping stones, and summer afternoons.
- Small business growth – For the shop on Main Street that knows your name and the local diner where everybody waves.
- Youth opportunity – So our young people can build a life here, not just dream of leaving.
Paul believes leadership begins with listening, collaboration, and delivering practical solutions for local communities.
